I started out my writing career writing content for websites of all the major arts organizations in Cincinnati, Ohio while working as an Interactive Project Manager at Strata-G Interactive. There I learned to write copy, design site architecture, train clients on site maintenance and promote non-profit organizations.
I taught Journalism at Transylvania University. I have over ten years experience teaching writing at the high school and college level. My extensive knowledge of grammar rules, AP style and editing experience has sharpened my wit and my writing skills.

I am an experienced freelance writer. I have written dozens of feature articles and profile pieces for local publications like Business Lexington, The Chevy Chaser and The Lane Report.
I worked as a Marketing Assistant at Georgetown/Scott County Tourism. I have written press releases, newsletters, blogs and content for social media sites. I have written articles for Food & Travel and TravelHost magazines.
My most recent position was as a Program Coordinator at Georgetown College. I planned events for the Programs of Distinction and updated Canvas sites for the programs.
